Review highlights
Based on 98 reviewsAmarin Thai Restaurant in Subiaco is frequently praised for its friendly and attentive service, as well as its authentic Thai cuisine that appeals to a wide range of diners. Customers appreciate the menu's completeness and generally well-balanced flavors, though the spice level is often noted to be milder than traditional recipes. The restaurant’s atmosphere is described as spacious and quiet, contributing to a pleasant dining experience. While some find the portion sizes slightly smaller compared to other Thai establishments, pricing is consistently regarded as reasonable and good value, especially considering the quality and taste. Additionally, the option to bring wine with a modest corkage fee is well received, enhancing the overall appeal of the venue.
Great food but a little pricey. Service is friendly and authentic. All of the expected dishes are available, although spice has been dialled back a little versus the traditional recipe.
Thank you for a great evening Amarin. My first visit. All the orders arrived in good time and were correct on a table of 8. Orders taken by friendly wait staff. Lovely evening. And a bonus - how about those napkins folded into lotus flowers wow!
A nice Thai restaurant tucked away on the first floor of the Crossways Shopping Center Rokeby Road Subiaco. Having visited here twice food here was tasty and well priced, servings were perhaps a little small compared to some other Thai restaurants but not too bad. Service was friendly and food came out quickly. The restaurant is licenced but BYO wine is ok with a per person bottle charge which can add up. Being in the shopping center parking is not a problem. A good place for groups to meet for a convenient relatively cheap Thai meal.
Went to this restaurant with my family. We ordered: Fried Rice (14.5) Tom Yum Chicken (9.5) Massaman Beef (18) Chicken Satay (9.5) Everything tasted pretty good. The restaurant has a quiet environment, is large and spacious. Prices very good. Wine was good and cheap. Only 5 for a glass of decent red
